Charles Simon Recognized by Cambridge Who's Who
Charles Simon graduated from Dallas Baptist University with a degree in health care management

ARLINGTON, TX, May 7, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Charles Simon, General Manager of Heritage Eye Care, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in business management.

With 32 years of professional experience, Mr. Simon followed the recommendation of a doctor to enter the field of health care management. He graduated from Dallas Baptist University in 2008, earning a Bachelor of Science in health care management. Leading up to this, he received a Bachelor of Science in management from the University of Maryland, as well as an Associate of Arts in general management.

For the past three years, Mr. Simon has been overseeing the office operations of Heritage Eye Care and acting as a HIPAA compliance officer. As the company's general manager, he is charged with hiring and terminating employees, in addition to writing policies and procedures. He also handles payroll and negotiates contracts, OSHA compliance, company budget and strategic planning for the company.

His goal is to aid Heritage Eye Care in the establishment of a second office. He also hopes to retire and engage in volunteer work to help children; Mr. Simon is already active with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. He is also a platinum two star member of the Southern Property Law Center in Montgomery, Ala., American Biographical Institute Research Board of Advisors. Mr. Simon also is also recognized on the Wall of Tolerance at the Southern Poverty Law Center.

In the past, Mr. Simon owned a real estate company and was voted Man of the Year in Real Estate Services in 2001. A member of Disabled American Veterans, Veteran of Foreign Wars and also served on active duty in the U.S. Air Force for three years.
