Dr. Ying-Ta Chen brings six years of experience as an optometrist and optician to his own practices

WASHINGON, DC, August 25, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Ying-Ta Chen, Optometrist for Dr. Ted Chen, OD, PC, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in eye care.

Dr. Ying-Ta Chen brings six years of experience to his own optometry practice. Best noted for his expertise in contact lenses, he treats patients of all ages and is sought to conduct eye examinations, diagnose eye diseases, and fit glasses and contact lenses. Prior to striking out on his own in 2008, Dr. Chen honed his skills as an optician. He considers establishing his practice to be the highlight of his career to date, and attributes his success to the motivation that he receives from his parents.

An alumnus of Nova Southeastern University, Dr. Chen earned his doctor of optometry in 2008 and his dual bachelor's degree in biology and visionary sciences in 2004. He is a member of the Virginia Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. He looks forward to developing his practice further in the coming years.
