Wm. Brent Walker, OD has an impressive professional background that spans 29 years. He specializes in fitting contact lenses and is responsible for treating patients at two clinics, performing eye exams and treating ocular diseases and visual system refractive disorders. Inspired by his father, who was an optometrist, Dr. Walker made the decision to pursue a career in healthcare early in life. Today, he is recognized as a truly dedicated professional, recently receiving military clearance to practice optometry at the Fort Stewart Army Base. This has been an accomplishment he regards as his greatest career achievement to date.

Dr. Walker was named Cambridge Publishing's Professional of the Year in Optometry in 2009. Such an honor is reserved for individuals demonstrating personal and professional achievement in their chosen fields of practice.

Dr. Walker earned his Doctor of Optometry from the Southern College of Optometry in 1981 and his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of West Georgia in 1975. He is a member of the Georgia Optometric Association, the American Optometric Association and Kappa Sigma.
