As a marketing director, refractive coordinator and certified ophthalmic assistant for Cape Fear Eye Associates, P.A, Ms. Worrell specializes in Lasik eye surgery and lens implantation. She manages patient care and explains procedures to patients. Cape Fear Eye Associates, P.A. is an eye care center that provides eye and vision care to families. She is responsible for managing patient care, explaining procedures to patients, developing full marketing program for two offices in Fayetteville, and one in Sanford, NC, coordinating health fairs as well as sporting and concert events, helping to establish and maintain the department's mission and goals, enforcing set policies and procedures, maintaining a working knowledge of various software programs and computer equipment, assisting in the design and supervision of the company website, handling and responding to all e-mail traffic and creating monthly newsletters, office fliers, newspaper ads, brochures and articles. She also writes and records radio commercials, handles contracts through media outlets including the phone book, newspaper, Internet and radio, works with various vendors to assist the marketing department in ensuring materials arrive on time, to specifications and within budgetary confinements, organizes company events, manages customer service, and schedules all refractive consultations, return visits, surgeries and post-operative visits.

Ms. Worrell has completed college coursework, and she is a certified emergency medical technician and certified ophthalmic assistant. She attributes her success to her caring nature towards her patients. In the future, she intends to become a certified ophthalmic technician and establish a laser program at her office.
