ROCHESTER, MN, October 29, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Michael P. Fautsch, Associate Professor at the Mayo Foundation for Medical Education and Research, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in higher education.
An associate professor at the Mayo Foundation for Medical Education and Research, Dr. Fautsch attributes his success to his excellent staff and colleagues. His day-to-day responsibilities include teaching, writing dissertations, fundraising for glaucoma research. He is a member of the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology and the American Society for Cell Biology.
Dr. Fautsch is a recipient of the Ruth Salta Junior Achievement Award and the Lew R. Wasserman Award. He earned a Ph.D. in biomedical sciences in 1992 from the Mayo Clinic. In 1984, he earned a bachelor's degree in biology from Saint John's University in Minnesota.
